Kitchen Resurfacing Project

Kitchen Resurfacing Project

The above kitchen makeover saved the owners several thousand dollars. The owner was not looking to replace their cabinets or countertops because they were damaged, they simply wanted to update the look and color of their kitchen. They loved the arangement of the kitchen but the style and color was old and dated.

This customer would have been displaced from their kitchen a week or longer on a complete tear out and replacement project, but with our products and service they were back in their new kitchen in 4 days after curing time. Our surfacing products adhere to laminate countertops, wood cabinets, and ceramic tile backsplashes found in this kitchen makeover project. The cabinets were solid color coated, while the laminate countertop was stone finished to a solid countertop look with no seams, and the ceramic tile backsplash was given a striped/checkerboard 3 tone finish.

About or Products and Service!

Our resurfacing products are 2 part surfacing products based on aerospace coating technology and applications. We painstakingly clean and prepare your existing surfaces then treat them with an aerospace bonding agent that etches itself into the existing surface creating a greater bonding surface and insures greater durability.

Once the bonding agent is verified as complete, (via ultraviolet light), then the 2 parts coating is applied. Our surfacing has been tested against numerous known products and chemicals known to cause damages to most surfaces. Our surfacing products have some of the highest laboratory tested ratings against many of the acids and cleaning products that are known to come in contact with the surfaces we apply our coatings to.

You can be assured that the products we use are the very best in the industry. We never cut corners and stand behind our products and services. When we finish your resurfacing project you will have a finished surface or surfaces that you can and will be proud of. Not to mention your friends and visitors will swear you spent a fortune while you laugh your way to the bank with your savings!

Damaged Corian Sink After

The above Corian sink was damaged by a heavy cast-iron skillet that had been dropped. The hole went from the drain up the side wall of the sink, viewable in the before image above.

The inside and underside of the sink had to be cleaned and prepared insuring no dirt, grease of oily residue was present on the surface. The hole then had to be filled and bonded to the existing inside and outside surface of the sink. The repair was feathered into the existing surface inside and out for durability and proper adhesion creating a solid liquid tight repaired surface.

Once the repair was properly matched to the shape and texture of the remainder of the sink the entire inside and underside surfaces were again cleaned and prepared removing all dirt, grease, water and other substances that could prevent adhesion. Our aerospace bonding agent is then applied to insure a strong and durable bond of our 2 part aerospace surface coating.

Our surface coating was then color matched to the existing sink and countertop and 4 coats of our 2 part aerospace surface coating was applied providing a finish that matched the repair to the existing one piece countertop sink unit.
